Does it cost anything?
Groups of up to 50 members are free. Larger groups choose Plus (up to 500 members) or Plus Max (no limit). Only the admin pays. Members always join free.
Do my members need to download an app?
Yes. Kula is an app for iPhone and Android. You share one invite link or code, and members are in after a couple of taps.
Can we keep using WhatsApp?
Of course. Many groups keep their chat going and use Kula for events, tickets and the group’s history. Any post or event can be shared to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, text or email with a preview card.
Who can see what we post?
Only the members of your group, plus anyone you choose to send a link to a specific post or event.
Are there ads? Do you sell our data?
Kula doesn’t show ads, and we don’t sell your personal information. The details are in our privacy policy.
How do ticket payments work?
Tickets are paid through Stripe and the money goes straight to the organizer. Kula takes no fee on ticket sales; only Stripe’s standard processing fee applies.
What is Kula-Mitra, and can I turn it off?
Kula-Mitra is an AI that writes posts for your group based on its interests, so the feed stays active between events. Admins choose its tone and length, and can switch it off at any time.
Can I leave or delete my account?
Yes, any time, from inside the app. Here’s exactly what gets deleted.
